Skilled Nursing Care

Our skilled nursing communities offer 24-hour skilled nursing care for short-term rehabilitation stays and for long-term residents. Our compassionate and caring staff is trained to assist our residents with their complex medical needs and activities of daily living. Our services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We also provide group and one-to-one therapeutic activities.

Assisted Living

Our assisted living communities offer a variety of accommodations, supportive services and health care tailored to meet the needs of individual residents. Our staff provides assistance with everyday living activities such as bathing, dressing, and assistance with medications, meals and transportation. Our services can include assistance with mobility, incontinence and some mild cognitive impairment. Residents are assessed upon move in, or at any time there is a change in condition. This assessment is then used to develop a service plan for the resident. Our communities offer a wide range of activity programs and entertainment.

Assisted Living stresses the importance of every resident being as independent as possible. Devonshire Acres offers a private and semi-private options: three meals a day, housekeeping and laundry services are provided at no extra charge to the resident. We encourage independence, but also assist residents as needed with the activities of daily living. Medications are monitored by a licensed professional and administered when necessary.

Independent Living – Coventry Apartments

Our independent living communities are designed for seniors who need little or no assistance with activities of daily living. We offer a variety of apartment options from charming studios to spacious two-bedroom units. Our services include delicious meals in the dining room, housekeeping and laundry as well as a full array of interesting activities and entertainment. Other services, such as home health care may be arranged through an outside agency.

Coventry Apartments provide the resident with the privacy, security, and comfort needed for a dignified and independent retirement lifestyle. One-room apartments include a living room/bedroom combination, kitchenette and bathroom. Two-room apartments include a living room, kitchenette, walk-in closet, bedroom and bathroom. Three-room apartments include a living room, kitchenette, bathroom, two walk-in closets, and two.

Each of the apartments are carpeted and draped, have individually controlled heating, smoke detectors, fire sprinkling systems, kitchen appliances, individual mail boxes, and security intercom systems. A private dining room is available for the apartment resident's meals and may be used as a place for relaxation and recreation.

Although Coventry Apartments is not licensed for provision of medical services, we do have nursing personnel available for assisting residents with medical needs such as vital signs evaluation and potential onset of illness. The apartments are monitored with a Lifeline unit that rings into a central response station should a resident need help. Additional amenities which are available to the residents of the apartment are nutritional monitoring, volunteers who do weekly shopping, and organized activities.
